This is the first Seacroft Wheelers evening club event of the season, choose your partner, clean and polish your race machine, turn up as a team and hurtle round. We will be on the old great north road course at Fairburn. The aim is to ride 10 miles with your team mate as fast as you can, switching out on the front, sharing the wind, conserving energy.
Trying new cycling disciplines makes you a better/stronger/more skill full rider and it can be as serious or for fun as you want to make it 🙂

Please arrive and be ready to pay and collect your number. There is a maximum of 40 riders and it’s on a first come first served basis. Please note last signing on time will be 6.45pm.
This helps organisers plan better but more importantly gives you the chance to warm up. Once you have collected your number this needs to be displayed on your back towards the left hand side.
It is helpful for the marshals if you shout out your number as you cross the finish line.
In the event that this course is not available due to road conditions , the reserve course will be V318/1 Grimston Lodge approx 2 miles South of Tadcaster on A162
Please ensure you check for short notice of change.
(Note- part of each entrance fee comprises a £3 levy paid by the organising club per rider, to the relevant governing body Cycling Time Trials Association, which goes towards things like liability insurance for that event, administration and developing the sport).
