We value our ride leaders. To acknowledge this we are going to be offering £50 off any item of club kit for anybody who leads eight rides for the club in 2023. This starts from week commencing 27th Feb and applies to any “official” club ride so currently Tuesday evening, Wednesday Evening, Saturday and Sundays.
We need more help – we need you women and men ! Help the club grow by leading groups at a pace that suits you. Leaders can choose routes and destinations but can also select from our collection of navigable route files. We’ll help you overcome any fears you have around the role. Ride leaders are being offered first aid training at the moment. So if you are interested in leading some rides this would be a great opportunity to also help improve the safety of members. The date for this is the 11th of March. This will be at St Mary’s Community centre in Whitkirk (where we had the awards evening)and comes with a free lunch.
