Hi Wheelers, Saturday 1st April we are driving to Wessenden for a scenic off road ride.

9am -meet at the Barnbow Pub (car share will be organised)
Start of ride -Black Hill just outside Holmfirth approx 10:00am
What 3 Words start point – glory.smart.gossiping
Distance -11 miles, climbing 1849 ft, saddle time approximately 2.5 hours.
Terrain- a mix of gravel, mud, wooded trails & a rocky section. Not a long route but plenty of climbing.
Bike suitability-local trails so most off road capable bikes should be fine, definitely off road tyres.
This event is on high ground, you must have windproof clothing available.
Note- Can you do a pre-ride check of your bike for faulty/worn/loose components in time so any issues can be resolved please.
PS don’t forget your helmet!
Snacks- lots of cafes in Meltham and a good chippie
Guestimated finishing time – 4pm at the Barnbow.
