The cyclo cross season has fired up so it’s time to ask club members to help at our cross event on Sunday 16th Oct at Temple Newsam Park.
We are hosting Round 4 of the Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Championships organised by https://yorkshirecyclocross.com/
We’ve 6 races on a hectic day that needs setting up for 9am. Last race finishes about 3.35pm. If you are able to help full or half day could you contact Martin (see below). We have a proud history of staging cross races for the cross riders of Yorkshire & beyond.
Hot food & drink is provided as grateful thanks for club members able to help stage our races. Reward is also watching Yorkshires finest cross riders including our own club members compete in a high speed, skilled bike handling on a mix of a technical & fast course.
Specialised Concept store from Harrogate will also be attending with 3 gazebo’s, mechanics workshop, gravel & cross bikes on display & generally helping out.

Sat 8th Oct 1-3pm
Sat 15th Oct 1-3pm (grids marking out & small course obstacle highlighting).
Please bring spades, rakes, loppers to help Mike Farthing get the course ready.
