In case you’ve missed the news, the full routes for the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire have been announced.
The first weekend in May will see some of the world’s top cyclists visit ‘God’s Own Country’ once again, with many great vantage points for us all to be road-side to see the peloton. Where do you think the club should go to watch the stages?
Stage 2 on Friday 2 May will appeal to many, with its eye-catching summit finish atop Ilkley’s Cow & Calf! While Stage 4 winds through many of our favourite climbs (e.g. Park Rash, Greenhow, Black Hill), before concluding in Leeds city centre. Other local spots to be featured where many of our members live or ride include Barwick, Garforth and Kippax.
There’ll be many debates between now and May on where is the best place to catch the tour – if you want to suggest somewhere, go to our Facebook group by clicking on the logo at the top right of the page, and create a post there.
